Cool Things I've Done
TEDx Speaker January 2026
Thanks to my Gainesville, FL community, on an unusually cold January day, I stood on a stage in a beautiful auditorium at the University of Florida and delivered my experiential talk sharing the practice I call Somatics of Belonging.
The talk was not in typical TED fashion as I delivered it without a script, channeling from the wisdom of my bones. It was less a talk and more of an experience. Together with the audience, we felt what it means to belong, as emotions moved through the room and we all remembered together.

The Great Mother - Ritual Theatre Transmission June 2024
Rituals are commonplace in indigenous cultures across the world. They are an ancient tool of transmitting collective and historical knowledge. I use ritual and performance art as portals of remembrance and spaces for alchemical transformation.
I curated and delivered The Great Mother deep in my pain around the state of the world. A world that has forgotten how to tend to the mother, how to protect the children, and how to live in communion with all of nature. It serves as a reminder that we must return to the village and learn how to center the children.
The Rage Inside This Cage - Experiential Art Piece April 2023
This is a cultural performance art piece I created to invite the audience to witness the rage I carry for the shackles of my culture and to then participate in the safe expression of rage together. It was powerful, and very moving.
I was inspired to deliver such an experience because we have, as a collective society, shunned rage and anger and suppressed these natural and necessary aspects of our human experience. As a result, they come out sideways and show up in violent acts of all sorts. Witnessing rage on a stage serves as an embodied reminder for the rage that lives inside us, in its very own cage. A lot gets to move simply in witnessing, and even more in choosing to embody rage along with the performer.
I bring rage into the social conversation as an invitation for us to learn how to be with and integrate our rage into the full spectrum of the human experience. It too belongs. It is key to our fullness and our thriving as a humanity.

Workshops + Retreats
Over the years, I have held space for different types of transformational work. At residential retreats, in nervous system workshops, in men's groups, in women's groups, hosting storytelling events, organizing trauma trainings, facilitating medicine work through ritual and ceremony and art. I am multifaceted in how and where I offer my work. The common thread? I believe in our full human potential. And I believe that we get there together. And I live my life in such a way that supports and cultivates such a reality. I serve where it feels right, when it feels right. I am guided by something bigger than myself and have faith and determination. My community is a global one and I am at home in many places. I live what I preach and I teach what I know deep in my bones. Everything I have done, and everything I have yet to do, I do with heart, curiosity, and devotion.
